- Is a petrol cylinder mower loud or high-maintenance? It runs on a Briggs & Stratton XR550 engine — start it, mow, switch off. Upkeep is ordinary petrol care: fresh fuel, an occasional oil check, and keeping it clean. Nothing to charge or replace.
- Do I need to buy cartridges to start? No. It arrives ready to cut and stripe with its 6-blade cutting cylinder. Quick Change cartridges are optional add-ons you can bring on later — see "Complete your system" above.
- Which cartridge should I choose? For a finer, tighter cut, the 10-blade cutting cylinder. For lawn health, the scarifier, dethatcher, verticut or aerator. For finishing, the lawn brush. Each swaps in seconds.
