Upgrade sustainably. Trade your mower, receive credit toward a new model, and keep your existing machine out of the landfill.

Upgrade Your Mower — Let Us Handle the Rest

Trade your mower in, receive credit toward a new model, and let us refurbish your old unit for the next owner.

1

Tell Us What You Own

Submit your mower model, condition, hours of use (if known), and photos through our online form.

The more detail you provide, the more accurate your estimate.

2

Receive Your Estimate

We assess your mower and offer a value based on three options.

You choose what works best for your timeline and goals.

Three Trade Options:

  • Wholesale Buyback: Fastest path, lower value, credit applied immediately when we receive your unit
  • Consignment: Higher value, credit paid when your refurbished unit sells (typically 2-8 weeks)

Hybrid: Guaranteed wholesale floor value paid immediately + consignment upside bonus when unit sells

3

Apply Credit & Unlock Loyalty Benefits

All Heritage Exchange participants receive exclusive benefits in addition to trade credit.

Loyalty Benefits:

  • 5% loyalty discount on new units (stacks with trade credit)
  • Priority pre-order access to next-year models

We Collect Your Old Unit

Is Your Mower Eligible?

Most Allett mowers qualify—regardless of age, condition, or model line.

Eligible Units

Liberty / Cambridge / Kensington series (all generations)
Classic cylinder mowers (electric or petrol)
Stirling range (any age)
C-Series and Buckingham models (case-by-case evaluation)
Machines with cosmetic wear (fully accepted, value adjusted accordingly)
Machines missing belts, rollers, or cartridges (accepted with value deduction)
Units 10+ years old (condition-dependent, evaluated individually)
Non-running units (if engine/motor and frame are intact)

Not Eligible

Severely rusted frames with structural compromise
Fire or flood damage
Machines missing engine/motor or major structural components (frame, rear roller assembly)
Non-Allett branded units

Condition Assessment Factors

We evaluate based on:

  • Frame integrity and rust level – Minor surface rust acceptable, structural rust not
  • Engine/motor functionality – Non-running engines acceptable if intact
  • Cutting cylinder condition – Worn reels acceptable (we regrind)
  • Hours of use (if documented) – Helps estimate remaining life
  • Completeness of components – Missing minor parts acceptable, value adjusted

Special Note on Parts Donors

Even severely worn units may have value as parts donors. If your mower doesn't qualify for refurbishment, we may still make an offer for component recovery. Contact us to discuss.
