Factory Orders

A factory order is for equipment that Allett Canada orders from the manufacturer rather than shipping from stock.

Payment and price

Factory orders are paid in full when the order is placed; we do not currently offer a deposit program. The quoted purchase price is confirmed before the order is accepted.

Changes and cancellation

You can request changes before manufacturing begins, subject to manufacturer availability and Allett Canada approval. A factory order may be cancelled until Allett Canada issues a purchase order to the manufacturer. Once the purchase order has been issued, or the equipment has shipped from the manufacturer, the order cannot be cancelled except where required by law. If the manufacturer makes a material specification change affecting your order, we will notify you.

Shipment

Factory-order and stocked items may be combined in a single shipment where practical; shipment timing depends on the items ordered. Shipping is handled under our Shipping page.

Communication and delivery

We communicate material updates by email throughout the process. Estimated delivery dates are provided in good faith; manufacturing, shipping, customs, and freight delays can occur, and we will communicate significant delays as soon as reasonably practicable.

Financing

If you finance a purchase and an item has an extended ship date, your loan payment(s), including interest, may become due before you receive the item.
