Current replacement: RCC436 Rapid Change 6-Blade Cutting Cylinder. Note: the RC range offers 6- and 10-blade cylinders only; the RC equivalent of this 5-blade cylinder is the 6-blade.
RC cartridges also fit QC machines — simply remove the pre-installed adaptor (no kit required). Conversion kits QC2RC and QC2UC are also available.

Made of hardened and ground steel the 17" 5 blade cylinder offers a super fine cut, which is sharp and clean.
Cylinder type mowers use a revolving cylinder made of several spiral blades. When these meet with the bottom blade as the cylinder rotates, it imitates a scissor-like cutting action which leaves the end of the blades of grass sharp and level. A clean-cut is less damaging to the grass plant and lessens the risk of disease forming.
This cartridge is ideal to have as a spare in the shed or garage.
